Fly Ball

Flyball is known as the "drag racing" event of the dog sports. It's a
fast-paced, high-energy relay race game where dogs are sent over a series
of hurdles to retrieve a ball from a spring-loaded box and return with it while
being timed. The emphasis is on FUN! Dogs with a strong toy or ball drive
are especially good at this sport and just about every breed participates.

Basic flyball- is set up to teach the basic skills of each element that makes up
a successful run. On completion your dog should be able to make a "demo
run" using a full size course with regulation equipment. Basic obedience
training is the only prerequisite to attending this course. Class size is limited
to 6 dog/handlers.  6 week class.

Intermediate flyball-a continuation of the basic skills with addition of the
competition/relay element. We will work on making everything more efficient,
put more emphasis on speed and introduce rules and behaviors dogs need
to know in actual competition. For dogs/handlers that have completed the
basic course. 6 week class.

Practice Group flyball-This is a moderated informal practice session that will
be held for teams that have completed the intermediate course. It is
scheduled to fit the requirements of the majority of those students attending.

This class is designed around dogs/handlers who have issues with
aggression, fear, control, obsessive based issues(excessive barking,
